I really love the token system in this game. Leper always struggled in the first game no matter how much the devs tried to buff him while staying in his "high reward high risk" niche of having strong low accuracy attacks. But in the sequel his blind tokens can be more effectively managed or even benefited from. In a run I had I got a trinket combo that let him gain a 10% chance to crit every time he missed. So if you give him a couple of cheap items that "hit" the entire squad of enemies, you could potentially give him a +40% chance to crit that lasts the rest of the battle, uses up your blind token so you're sure to hit whatever enemy you target next, and doesn't even waste your turn.

Hopefully someone pulls through and we can get Omen Seeker's tits jiggling around in 3D.

I've had fun with duelist. I usually try to put dodge, taunt, and counterattack tokens on her. Her default skills are kind of junk so you have to upgrade them right away though which is probably why people are struggling with her she isn't as good "right out of the box" like other heroes are.

From what I remember, Red Hook didn't want to make a "generically cool" character because they thought it would be low effort and wanted to make someone more fitting to the new world of DD2 that you'd see living in it. Unfortunately, I think they went too far in the other direction because she looks like she'd fit right in with the various refugees you help out along the road. Her smokebombs are great though.

I had a similar idea except the gimmick would be that the people of the region were merchants, so many of the monsters would be made of precious metals or have large precious stones as attack organs like an enemy with diamond horns or is made of liquid gold reflecting a population literally consumed by greed.
