Acid helped me, believe it or not
The first time I ever took acid was when me and my best friend were hiking a local trail, half a tab... I got triggered by some moss growing a tree trunk, it looked like embers of emerald fire. At one point, I felt the earth rotating under a boulder I was climbing, the sky overwhelmed me and I clung to the it for dear life so I wouldn't fall off as it spun, all of the aeons above the universe started to crush me and everything went really silent, it was one of the loneliest existential moments I've ever experienced. Then I looked up and saw my best friend climbing the boulder next to me, totally unaware of the crisis I felt, and I realized how important that friendship really was to me.
The best time was kayaking with him and one of his brother-in-laws, I took two tabs. I got triggered by a little violet growing beautifully purple on the shore, and the woods started closing us off from the reality outside. I looked at my hand and it appeared made of the same material as the roots of the trees, mostly sycamores and hornbeams. As I floated down the creek in the setting sun, I felt like a heroic figure in a Greek vase like pic related, all full of life and youthful vigor. I saw the flora around me as a hierarchy of being: the fires under the earth being cooled by the water to forge the stones in the creekbed along with remains of stone buildings from previous unknown civilizations, the soil forming on the stones, the vegetation rising skyward, the animal life sustained from the plants, then the canopy of trees touching heaven. I was floating down a tributary of the great river of Paradise. I think I perceived something akin to Platonic forms inside the different species of trees, and that their botanical and ecological properties were reflections of the true forests of Paradise epitomizing a greater encompassing Beauty.
Acid's my thing, weed makes me a paranoid schizo, shrooms nailed me to the ground and separated me from nature
