Man...not to be racist but I am fascinated by Asian culture and history and its more fringe elements. Like recently I've been spending some time in Asian twitter, and oh my lord what a fucking rabbit hole that is. You will find the most insane, violent, pornographic, and racist shit on Asian twitter...or...some really cool art, or some Japanese guy obsessing over naval carrier model kits.
As a Californian, I am surrounded by Asian culture everywhere, and what is funny is you will find some of these Korean churches just about everywhere. I saw one in a very upscale suburb, and another near the freeway and homeless encampment in Oakland, California in a really industrial ghetto area.
