Very weird. Kira does the same melee move Shinn does. Freedom pulls out its beam saber and Kira goes in for a close range attack. But Destroy Gundam raises its arm, and blocks with a beam shield. Then smacks Freedom Gundam away. Makes Freedom's melee attack look so pathetic. So why the heck wasn't this used against Destiny Gundam? We know it's sword can't break beam shields. Yet all the Destroy Gundams stood there like idiots during the Battle of Heaven's Base.
