The culture in gunpla doesn't promote fundamentals, thats why you have people who can shit out perfectly smooth flat paintjobs but can't do the basics that even shitters in traditional or mini scenes can perform like drill out holes or cleaning up mold lines or even doing ejection pin marks (I've only seen like 3 people who bothers with them in my 6+ years in this side of the hobby) .
And when you do point them out you'll get thrown the same old excuse of "gunpla is freedom" "umm its not ur kit"
