well what youre missing though is the part where marriage on earth was instituted by Jesus Christ to help us understand salvation. divorce is like losing your salvation. but judas was never saved. if you have an unbeliever for a wife and she leaves, you were never married, just like judas was never saved. therefore [1 Cor 7:15]. its not a divorce because it was never a marriage.
and if she wont reform her behavior, that means shes an unbeliever. and if shes an unbeliever, and she departs, let her go, you were never married.
> Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
if she takes your name, and doesnt act like it, shes not married. if she takes the Lord's name saying shes a Christian, and doesnt act like it, she takes the Lord's name in vain, and gives the enemies of the Cross occasion to blaspheme.

you know how aryan philosophy starts with socrates presenting his theological arguments to the ekklesia in athens and them condemning him to death expecting him to escape and go hide somewhere? and then 400 years later Jesus presents the same concept of God to the jews and the sand hundred condemns Him to death and gets the romans to crucify Him? and then peter quotes socrates in Acts 5:29?

>47For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.
