Holy fuck this weapon works so much better against bugs than squids, and it's not even bad against squids. It's nice being able to stop Overseers and Observers in their tracks and just take them down at leisure, but it does jack shit against Fleshmobs. Against the Predator Strain though, not only does it just take a few rounds to kill those small bouncy Predator Hunter fucks, it massacres Predator Stalkers and regular Stalkers, not to mention that if you miss a headshot on a Charger you can still just shoot into the hole you made to stun them. Just paralyzing Predator Strain bugs instead of knocking them back like with the Lib Concussive makes them a lot easier to finish off, and it's just so satisfying to cut them down while they're helpless like that. It being AP3 lets you deal with Hive Guards and Bile Spewers, and just hitting a Bile Spewer is enough to interrupt any of its attacks, which is fucking golden.
