Yep, that timeline sounds right. 2012-16 was a very rough time for media. Thankfully, backlash, especially in the post-COVID era, seems to be having an impact, though you always have to watch out for the horseshoe theory to strike. This sort of shit is why I always double down on pushing and posting extremely heterosexual ships whenever I can. Trannies, fujos, yurifags, etc., should all feel stigmatized again.
