Yes. Megalith has never been good in MD not counting the N/R format and they haven't gotten new cards in years, meanwhile Maliss was known to be the clear best deck before we even knew March Hare was going to be released. Missing 1 Sarc and some hand traps isn't going to make or break the deck. The missing ED monsters limit your options somewhat but that's not a major deal compared to playing Megaliths.
If you're having fun with Megaliths though, go ahead and continue playing them. As you rank up you'll start to see their limits more but that doesn't mean you have to be playing the best deck, especially not as a brand new player.

I'd suggest against getting the Dominus Impulses right now though unless you absolutely end up loving this deck. They're more limited in what decks you can use them in so it'd probably be better to get hand traps that can go in every future deck instead. Using the bundle options like Ghost Ogre, Ghost Bell, Effect Veiler, and Nib makes good sense for a new account. Talents too.
