The one thing I don't understand about IV is why it forces me to empathize with characters I don't care about. I didn't care about Packie and his stupid inbred potato eating family. Oh sure, you let me fuck your sister, that would've been nice if I were to care about her. Hell, every single fucking playthrough I let her die because there are so many women you can choose from in this game, one of which is a backstabbing glowie.
