I'm not even sure if this page shows panels or just seperate rooms, whether the events are happening one after the other, or all at once.
The whole thing is tilted at an aggresive angle forcing the reader to tilt their head to read it.

Try to imagine this scene but depicted with a more conservative approach to panelling, how much more alive it would seem, how you would be able to immerse yourself in the action of this story, as opposed to this bizarre cross-sectional splash page
