Funny that people complain about pends being so summon heavy when decks need 2-4 cards to get a board, that on top of dealing with whatever handtrap that opponent might have, more than often a single handtrap can end turns, not mention lack of proper endboards due konami not giving proper support.
Now compare with then modern decks that can juggle between engines when it feel like and every card on hand can double as extender sercher and starter, those decks can summon far more and eat handtraps, ash do nothing, droll is annoying but doable, only thing that can realistically stop those are shifter and roach.
Then Konami increase power ceiling again because said decks get disrupted by something else.
