I agree, physical ownership needs to come back in a big way. I was rooting for Switch 2 at first cause Nintendo was the last hold out for owning your games. Then switch 2 showed how fucked the future is for ownership.

Yes and no. If you don't log on for a certain period the software doesn't work. You can get around this by going in your directories and loading what you have downloaded manually and so long as their is no DRM component it should work, but it has a minor DRM like function, and some DRM features.
