Ronnie Anne was already disliked for being a "threat" to incest ships. You couldn't even like her genuinely without people going apeshit.
The spinoff kind of weakened her character though. They turned her into a generic MC instead of retaining her rough vibe. So she lost a lot of her primary appeal.
