Now a review for the latest episode.

I watched the new episode last week.

"A Knight to Remember" was middling for me.

The Louds have been invited by Mick Swagger to England for his knighthood. There, Lincoln encounters Agent X (I think her name was?) who's trying to stop a sinister plot. Ever the spy-obsessed kid, he insists on getting involved.

Recently, I saw [a BBC article about Lena Dunham's show *Too Much* and the stereotyping of places like London](https://www.bbc.com/culture/article/20250708-what-film-and-tv-get-wrong-about-london). And while I haven't seen that show, seeing this episode did raise these concerns. I think there wasn't enough time to treat London as a real place. In other words: it's stereotyping. Not only that, it seems they have no interest in spending time in it. Maybe it's the runtime, but I think the show should have paced it more slowly.

Once again, Lincoln gets way too overeager with the spying game. Maybe they should have gotten Robert Baer to consult on spy stuff instead of aping 007 willy-nilly. And I question why Rita was so enthusiastic about the kids going along with the spying. And the Louds don't have a chance to breathe, they're too stuck together. Maybe they could have had different adventures in London. Spread them all out, man!

It seems we're in for a bumpy ride. I give it a 7/10.

Guess I'll also post my thoughts on the newest episode, keep the momentum going anons~

"A Knight to Remember" was a very solid beginning to this journey, we got Music, we got flare, we got a grand Mistery and we got... Poop? Oh well, no everything is a hit, but I'll give the episode credit where it's due.

I gotta comment on the fact that the show seems very committed to Lincoln's role as a spy in training, I know it's already established that he's obsessed with spy gear, but this time around, there's a clear structure labelled around the whole family enjoying a double life as spies, with the exception of poor Lynn Sr. they all jumped at the opportunity to investigate as soon as Lincoln gave them the idea. X's appearance is also interesting, as it emphasizes that the events of No Time to Spy are canon and that the European Road Trip happens after it, thus linking the movies and the show more strongly, she seems to at least take Lincoln seriously and acknowledges his skills, now Lincoln has an actual chance to become a real spy! (but only after he becomes an adult), which raises interesting questions about what his career in the future could be.

As for the role of the sisters, it was overall pretty evenly spread, naturally, as it's a Britain and Mick Swagger episode, Luna was obviously in the spotlight, we got to see her be key in resolving key clues thanks to her excessive knowledge of Mick's autobiography, and we even get to see her sing at the end, which was an element sorely lacking in the show for a while, we also got to see Lisa's hacking abilities, Lynn's brute strength, Lana's Intel from animals, Lola's usual gossiping and Lori being somehow very knowledgeful of the inner mechanisms of traps thanks to watching TV? All in all, a very even teamwork for the mission (Though I guess Lucy, Leni, Lily and Luan could have done more)

Overall a pretty fun episode full of wholesome family interactions and a lot of seamless teamwork! Can't wait to see the rest.

As for my guilty pleasures, I LOVED seeing Lincoln as a knight, even if just for a disguise, Lola's dream guy is becoming a reality every day~ and did Lola just say: "I heard the prince broke up with his girlfriend and is now canoodling with HIS SISTER!"? Mmm...

Casagrandes was kind of the inverse of The Loud House where the friends were more enjoyable characters than the family characters.
