You need to show your work there. /gif/ is a yellow board so doesn't need to be "worksafe", and has no overriding theme to it's board except animated GIF (or portable video clip format like webm and now shitty ass mp4s).
/tv/ - Television & Film, is a board WITH a specific theme; and that is content relevant to the television and film industries and mediums. So the presumption that it's allowed on /tv/ because it is allowed on /gif/ does not logically or argumentatively track at all considering those two boards do not share criteria of what is to be posted.
