They go to South America to convert Catholics to American evangelicalism, or Seventh Day Adventism, or Mormonism. The evangelicals, Seventh Day Adventists, and Mormons are the most active evangelists.
They go to Africa to change African Catholics to evangelicals etc. They go to Egypt to convert Coptic Christians to their own denomination.
But you never see US Christian missionaries go to Yemen or Afghanistan to try to convert Muslims to some version of Christianity. They're evidently afraid of being killed or maimed, so they stick to converting other kinds of Christians.
I find this behavior just contemptible. Are American Christian missionaries just pussies?

We need to go back -- to the medieval period. Modernity is internally deadening and nihilistic. The entire Age of Enlightenment and Age of Reason and Scientific Revolution and Industrial Revolution and Era of Exploration were major mistakes.
People were happier in the medieval Europe because they had absolute faith and the Church had real power in their lives. We need Church authority in the modern world too; end the so called separation of Church and State and institute Biblical law as the only law. Any law not found in the Bible need not exist.
Protestantism is a major mistake, a modernist movement on the path to atheism and nihilism. It destroys all mysticism and mystery. Only the Catholic and Orthodox Churches have the power to end the nihilism of the modern age.
This means, of course, we'll have to dynamite the foundations of Protestant America and of Northern Europe. Every Protestant Church should be burnt and rebuilt as a beautiful Catholic or Orthodox church.
We need a massive and violent religious awakening across the modern world, one that kills and replaces the modern world. We don't need foreign wars. We need internal religious wars to remake our culture from the bottom up. We need conversion by the sword and mandatory worship in church several days per week. If people can spend forty hours per week at a meaningless job, then they can spend twenty hours a week, easily, in church performing worship and undergoing religious education.
