When I do my yearly solo trip to Japan I rarely see sunlite because I prefer to keep my sleep cycle and just explore the night. It's quite amazing because it is empty, no tourists, nothing. Good food places often are opened until early morning, clubs and bars too. And nice climate. If I wanna go around I take a taxi or rental scooter.

When I'm on the scooter I often get passed by groups of these bosozoku. I know many think they are annoying but imo they look damn cool. Interesting bike mods as well. I also see them hanging around parking lots etc. Anyone ever talked to them? A Japanese friend told me not to because they are dangerous and criminal. I'm really curious and would love to know them more, talk, hang out a bit. Should I try next time or better avoid? I also don't wanna end up beaten up by a group of thugs in the middle of night
