Yeah it makes no sense
Last year I've come to the realization that a lot of what's enjoyable about the movies isn't really the movies themselves but the hype around them. I didn't want to admit it at first because I enjoyed my experience watching the first movie in theaters and it's kinda embarrassing to get caught into the marketing like that I guess, but that's really what it is, everyone's talking about it and that just feels more enjoyable, even if the majority movie itself kinda sucks (still love the parts with Tails though lol). I also realized I wasn't going to have that experience with movie 3, so I ended up not having watched it yet. I will at some point but idk
