You were only ever able to get girls to play along with the Ninja Turtles with you and your bros if she was April O'Neil. Most of them time you end up rescuing her from being kidnapped and that was the basis for some sick ninja moves and a girl got to be included. They have been tried and attempted for decades now to make a female Ninja Turtle cool and popular. Man oh man, have they ever been clawing at trying to crack that precious female demographic to get them into the turtles. Venus was an obvious and blatant attempt but chicks simply don't care.
