>chara is absolutely 100% on board with murdering monsters, including the dreemurrs who adopted them, after dying and being reawakened by us committing genocide in the ruins ("where are the knives" refutes any notion of chara being mindbroken into liking it)
were they ALWAYS this evil? or do they want revenge for asriel betraying them? did they never care about any of the monsters, or did they cease to care when they lost their soul?

all of this open-endedness wouldn't bother me so much if chara wasn't pivotal to the story and wasn't so inscrutable and incoherent that most fans attempt to rationalize and recontextualize their entire character post-hoc

i'm more than open to the idea that flowey is just stupid and wrong every time he addresses us as chara, until the genocide route anyway
