So you cheated! But seriously I'm surprised 1000 wasn't the cap.
>the game's still accessible
I'm glad I was wrong about that.
>they're handling assets didn't look very archival-friendly to me.
I feel like that could partly because they don't want people having easy access to the Yasuyori's model.

So New Semester 2025 was mostly releasing characters from NPC jail. Gargoyle is alright but not enough for me to summon I probably wouldn't have the same luck as I did with part 1 anyway. But I can certainly appreciate him in a wrestling singlet.

I noticed the stained glass in the background of his 5 star art and his necklace so I wondered if he had a connection to the Missionaries. He also has the circuit board pattern of his left hand, neck, and chest which also made me think of the Crafters. Thinking about all this and knowing Chapter 15's translation is right around the corner really makes me want to start reading again maybe this weekend I'll have time.

To me Gargoyle has aspects of Cthugha and Galvo. But yeah gray dragon that has a big and small form they have some overlap. Honestly there are characters that take various degrees of "Heavy Inspiration" from other characters. On the human side it's same face and body type like with Sandayu's artist Icebanon. All the characters he's done they feel like the same guy just in a different outfit. The anthro side you have the artist make a character the same species as another character they did from another game like Sigvaldi from AE and Dainsleif from Crave. Obsidius from LAH and Dallaman from Woofia. But when they have nearly the same color scheme too you get Oguchi Magami and Wolakite from Crave. I don't know how development works maybe the artists don't have much freedom in the process and draw what they're told or they could have all the freedom in the world.
