lol, yeah they're worse because they believe the lie. The Republican candidates are never as chaste or religious or conservative or "family oriented" as they sell themselves as. They always get caught in huge lies. But that works out perfectly because the people who vote GOP don't care about facts. So it's a perfect symbiosis where repubs lie, they get elected anyway, the lies are exposed, the voters reject the information as 'fake', and the elected official keeps lying.
Both sides are pretty bad at living up to campaign promises, but the GOP never even intends to. Their whole game is lies and throwing mud. The system is too broken now to fix. I'll keep trying to vote against fascism and ceding more power and money to the 1%, but too many people are brainwashed and working against themselves or not paying attention. The two party system is fucked but more importantly too much of society's trust is gone. Too many people don't believe anything now. They'll believe what "feels" right. And they're too dumb to make that choice now.
