The vertical layout is cumbersome with the XL models. I think it's an unfortunate downside that usually goes unsaid.

I still choose the XL as my main though. I generally prefer smaller devices, but it doesn't sound great to play MonHun on a screen smaller than the PSP's. 4.3" vs 3.88" on N3DS
