God Damn do I love abilities like this.
The problem with so many manga/anime power systems is that they're so hierarchical like "I have a higher power level then you, so I win.", which I don't think is entirely wrong, someone with bigger muscles is gonna win a fist fight all things being equal, but it's not absolute, since if you roll up to a gunfight with fists you're screwed. Carrying that over to the fantastical is difficult, but a determined fighter should always be able to tear down even the strongest opponent with the right application and ability.
