Handyman or landscaping experience couldn't hurt, make up shit about running a small business in HS. Do this knowing that their expectations will be basic competency with hand and electric tools and small equipment. But these are entry level jobs, I've worked for several just like them. If you manage to interview with the cooperative, try to touch base with someone on the electrical side if they're in the same building. Tell them you want a job as a Groundsmen, lineman, laborer or in metering or warehouse and if you can apply for any of them. Piss clean, if one doesn't work try another, anything like it close to you IOU or coop, sewer, whatever. These places aren't going anywhere so you can keep tabs on them and apply multiple times. If you fuck up an interview ask them what they didn't like and thank them for the time and opportunity. Make sure you have valid driver's license.
