I completely agree. Eren's interaction with his father and telling him to fight was just pure unfiltered fucking Kino. Eren yelling at Ymir to think for herself and not be a slave was also pure unfiltered Kino.
It's just that time travel will always have plot holes in them if you dig deep enough, but it was still narratively worth it.
