No tarantula has ever killed a human being, although m. balfouri got close once and almost cost a dude his kidney. I have 5 of them in my house right now. In general most tarantulas are harmless, just like Elise after the 30k nerfs she's gotten over the years. And for that matter, unless you're compromised in some way or old/child, black widows will actually just make you really fucking sick for about 48 hours.
