The general rule is to stick to a certain DPI+sens, by high DPI and low sensitivity, and build muscle memory on it. Make small changes instead of entirely changing everything. Though this advice comes from playing shooters so I'm not sure if it helps with MOBAs; also I have asymmetric DPI (1800 horizontal and 1900 or 1950 vertical).

I didn't get help bot, so I rotated mid. Our Xerath Support decided to not show up to lane until the 2nd wave crashed and the enemy Ezreal and Sona just hit level 2. I was still playing to win, even if it looked weird.

My team ignored me, so I had to improvise. I roamed I took plates mid and even helped with some kills. And we were able to create more pressure mid without me dying or being harassed out of lane. Somethings I was incapable of doing bottom lane.

What defines a Champion as an ADC or determines if they are capable of being an ADC is simple.

It is a Champion that when all things are equal can provide consistently high DPS through attacking with a lot of up-time. They are balanced by their reliance on resources to do this.

Things like Attack Range, Attack Speed, On-Hits, Steroids, Attack Damage, Lethality, and Armor Penetration built into Champions kits determines their capacity to ADC. They can also acquire many of these things through items. That determines to what extent they need to be carried until they become capable.

Once an ADC reaches a certain point they become the one carrying the team, so to speak. And this is due to the fact they have become capable of dealing a lot of damage. (Though they may still be reliant on their team, because of circumstance and necessity of teamwork in a 5v5 scenario).

Just at the very top, there were several high elo solo queue streamers that had their ranked games bet on while being manipulated by chinese players. Tyler1 and Quantumn had their games infested with these players for months at a time, and both have documented it to where you can look it up on youtube if interested.

Each boosting company has a pool of hundreds of accounts that they all share together. If playing in an mmr below gemerald, it doesnt matter since the pool is too large but after a certain spot, these players will regularly run into each other and coordinate wins/losses for maximum efficiency.

When the game continues to lose active players, these companies only have a stronger grip on the game to the point where it won't even be viable to climb without being in the inner circle of it, either by becoming a booster or paying one to play on your account/duo. People in this very thread are doing that now.

Vanguard has largely done very little except delay time that plugins, screenreaders, etc all develop. They still are very much active and are pretty much in the same capacity as before. Riot will only ban in waves which is smart for OpSec but terrible for the players since they have to suffer for months playing against people with robot reflexes.

Try getting in the habit of walking kind of half way through the river while scouting the lane you're roaming to, to see if its in a gankable state. That way if you commit you're already on the way. If it looks bad you go back to catch the wave in time. The sooner you shove the wave the better because you have more time to out roam them. Also putting deep wards to avoid jungle. Hm-hm, I see. I mostly check the lanes from under my tower because it's the safest. There have been...'accidents' where I was checking the lane with free cam, and didn't notice being sneaked on by the enemy midlaner/jungler. I should improve my map awareness some more but I'm getting there.

Check picrel, those are the spots I place wards on, not exactly on the bushes because that way I get vision on a larger area (note: behind the bush midlane instead of in, I feel it covers more paths). Of course, there is still the bush in the middle of the river, where I place a pink; going too deep in the enemy jungle feels too risky so I avoid that unless roaming with our jungler.

Yeah thats fine if you you feel like its too risky and have no knowledge of the enemy jgs position. But with Roam heavy champs (TF, Panth, Talon for example) you want to be walking towards the lane the moment you kill off the wave. Because it will force the enemy mid to ping mia or danger and it could scare the lane your about to gank into retreating if they're pressuring your team hard for example. Also if you dont gank and come back they might ignore the mid laners mia ping because you constantly leave and show up mid again. If they dont back off then they possibly arent aware you're coming.I think spam ganking bot is usually the best move because bot laners always cry and tilt if you dont, so your odds are better if you gank and try to baby them. If they suck then you cant help them much and look for guaranteed plays only. Always spam ping when you're ganking too because some retards dont register a single on the way ping

You have a few options. If you're a champ with cc then usually you can chunk them with a spell rotation without them being able to retaliate because you got the jump. That leads to them having to play more safe (miss gold) when you get back to lane or risk dying if they want to cs (missing exp when dead or recalled)

Any other recommendations for the other 2 champions, characters that have rather straightforward, (easy to execute™) abilities, and can sort of fit into a lot of team compositions without much difficulty? I don't mind melee or range, but for melee I do like a sort of "One of us is going to fucking die if I go in, its on YOU to outplay ME" sort of characters.

I played a LOT of Ghoul and Dirge and Viper when they came out mostly in the Top and Bottom lane, I didn't play much Mid Lane (god, last hit denying was so hard there).

I'd like to play Briar. The other person said Warwick and Annie but other recommendations are welcome. I like lifesteal oriented or at least drain tank "I'm going in, you will die unless you outplay me" sorts of characters.

Warwick is pretty drain-tanky and is a jungler just like Briar is (both lifesteal oriented) so it could be good having both those characters in case either gets banned or taken by the enemy
other champions that fulfill the a "Im going in and will beat on you until either of us die" type of vibe are Olaf (can jungle or top lane), Illaoi (top lane), Tryndamere (jg, top) and perhaps volibear (jg and top) or renekton (top). Out of these, for a newer player, I would probably recommend Illaoi as she is pretty straight forward, doesn't have any intrinsic mechanics to learn past reading your ability descriptions and then playing her until she feels good. Not able to come up with a good hero that she is similar to though.
