Is it just me, or does anyone else think that it's super fucked up to keep dogs or cats or anything else inside for most of their life? Yeah, they're taken care of, kept warm, given food, and all that, but they don't get to enjoy the pure joy of exploring and doing things.

Is there a better way? Obviously dogs and cats can't just be set loose, it would cause a number of problems, but there must be a way to give them a better life.
