I've made it to Valhalla, which has a small safe zone with no save room or healer rendering it not much more than a pit stop for weapons and armor. I've also poked my head into the City of Bien after recovering an ancestral shield for the gate guard.
From what random friendlies have told me the residents attempted to rebel against one of Lucifer's lieutenants Medusa who turned the entire city to stone for their troubles. However a statue that can counter her was hidden somewhere before everyone got petrified. My next step is to recover that statue, deliver it to some schlub in Daedalus who can tell me how to use it, then hopefully kill medusa and free the city.
