Fate's whole dynamic is Shirou and Saber calling each other out for their martyr complexes only to realize they see themselves in each other; they both overcome their respective guilt thanks to their relationship, and its through this that Shirou pursues his dream in the epilogue without losing himself like Archer did. While I think the visual representation of overcoming oneself in UBW hit harder, Fate's finale and epilogue cement it as my favorite route

I never understood this complaint. The Holy Grail War is the most realistic secret-society tournament ever written
