Even nodevs who “pass” have games which look uncanny and unnatural to a gamer. Your design doc is a dead giveaway. And even if you manage to get a drunk gamer to play your game, he’ll turn tail and bolt the second he gets a look at your diseased, infected asset flip.
You will never be happy. You wrench out a fake smile every single morning and tell yourself your game will be good, but deep inside you feel the depression creeping up like a weed, ready to crush you under the unbearable weight.
Eventually it’ll be too much to bear - you’ll buy an asset pack, put it in your project folder, and plunge into the cold abyss of asset flipping. Your parents will find your game with no sales, heartbroken but relieved that they no longer have to live with the unbearable shame and disappointment of your game. They’ll bury your game with a headstone marked with your games title, and every passerby for the rest of eternity will know a nodevs game is buried there. Your game will decay and go back to the dust, and all that will remain of your game is a steampage which is unmistakably a nodev's.
