Remember Johnny? No? Well you get MORE JOHNNY! Oh boy you get a whole quest line about this asshole. I think he served a perfectly fine character in the original. He's just some slum guy in Midgar, Tifa knew him, and they run into each other in Costa Del Sol and later find he proposed to his gf.
Rebirth: Jonny's quest to start a hotel! Who wants this?
More doesn't mean better, it's just BLOAT. Ff7 should probably be studied since it has damn near perfect pacing, and a story that loops around to perfection.
