Scarlet and Violet did have some good characters and interactions though, stronger than Sword and Shield by far.
10th Gen Pokémon needs to seriously rethink what they're doing, because what they've been doing since X/Y and Sun/Moon is getting old now.
Narratively, S/V > S/M > X/Y >>> Sw/Sh
X/Y isn't unsalvageable and I'm interested to see what they do with Legends Z-A, particular with AZ and Eternal Floette, but Team Flare and Lysandre are an unmistakable weak point. Dude wants to genocide selfish conceited people but surrounds himself with those such people.
