They actually detect asbestos particles in the air decreasing since the ban 30+ years ago, but still all over the place.
It's actually illegal for solar panel installer or any roofing jobs in general, to work on a roof with asbestos. But nobody gives a fuck, I installed solar panels a few years ago and they didn't give a fuck, even fixed a broken panel for me.
