Lyrans and Urmah are the "light side", feline ayys who've had to war against orion, mantids, dracos and reptilians. Orion has been identified as "evil", with queen running hivemind of mantid slavers and soldiers, but Sirius is not "good", it's the "false light", it's said to be home of the "archons". Annunaki were said to have been a cross between sirius and orion bloodlines, but their rulership caused maldek to get completely destroyed, mars inhabitable, and they've pretty much fucked up things here on Earth. I think the current ayys in power might not even be related to the Annunaki (everything seems to point it's some cabal group with Orion origin), but they sure as hell like to larp/lay claim to things that are not theirs, to create the illusion that they were always the rulers/kings.
I think something like Babylon 5 gets closest to this question, as even there they say it's "false dichotomy", and the protagonist of the series is forced to "decline" both Sirius and Orion. Sirius in our case would probably be something like galactic federation of worlds or something, which seems to play ignorant/turn blind eye to the operations that the Orion group is doing here on Earth (as if they have a deal going on, in cahoots). Basically any felines that are not in direct co-operation with Sirius or Galactic federation (just in friendly terms with them) are probably your closest thing to an ally.

checked. Also yes, this whole left vs right thing is false dichotomy, it's a control mechanism. It's to sides of same coin (same demons/aliens masquerading two different sides). Babylon 5 did it good, shadows represent Orion/Mantids/Sophia , whils Vorlons are Sirius/Archons/Lucifer(?). Ultimately the right choice is to not side with either Orion or Sirius, but choose different path.
