The point of the exercise, if there is one, would be to walk people through different logical frameworks.

Easy - double negation
Hard - self referential double inversion
Very Hard - exclusive or predicate

Maybe I’m just not smart enough to get it or maybe I’m just operating in a framework that I’m familiar with which makes me blind to another option. I won’t go through all possible examples but if the door you pointed toward went to Heaven, the truth bird would say No since your statement returns a false response (said left but pointed toward the right). The lying bird would be the inverse so your false response would return a Yes.
