i work in chronic disease, i cant really speak for infectious disease but they seem more conservative ime.
i used to pass well and people would try to be my friend but then i stopped passing well and people act whatever around me. professional but distant. my previous manager was really nice to me but i think she might have had a crush on me based off of how people who have had crushes on me in the past have acted.
