Blizzard hinted that future events would be tests for upcoming content, similar to how Junkenstein's Lab was a test for Stadium. I think this is testing an Arcade rework. I can see them merging a bunch of the less popular modes like TDM/CTF/Elimination into a single queue with random modifiers to make them more interesting.
