It's not that bad for Blaze, and it pains me to say this, but it's not that bad for Silver, either. They retain individual fan bases well greater than - and largely removed from - the Silvaze fanbase. They're each far more popular as individuals that plenty of people think are "cool", compared to Silvaze, which is death spiraling, thank God. Blaze and Silver are not like Tangle and Whisper, where the overwhelming majority of their fans are Whispangle shippers. Blaze and Silver's interest isn't rapidly collapsing into nicher and nicher subsets of fandoms either. If anything they slowly gain individual popularity over time through game retrospective and analysis, better fan works, and exposure. They are not comparable in scale if we're being objective. That's the benefit of their age, designs, and sources, among other things.
