They've been making parts for a while. A lot of the "affordable" parts kit builds on the market are from them. G3's, Galil, VZ-61 etc . The only bad things I've heard about them came from the VZ-61 receivers. The first run was horribly out of spec but the subsequent runs fixed that.

source: have one. I think they had to stop making them because they caught a lawsuit or C&D from CSA due to being too similar IIRC
