Yes, but they can not be used for deep lacerations, or gunshots. They will not hold up. They are great for shallow cuts.

I went ahead and made an IFAK shortlist.
>Tier 1:
>Gauze roll
>Nitrile gloves
>Fabric bandaids
>Burn dressing
>Israeli Bandage
>Antiseptic
>Splint roll
Tier 1 is all easy peasy stuff that anyone can apply, and good to have on your person when in a dangerous environment, even when just hiking.
>Tier 2:
>CAT TQ
>Vented chest seal
>Bleedstop
Tier 2 requires training as to not make the injury worse. I can go into detail if anyone is interested, but you can not just read about it, Tier 2 requires training.
>Tier 3:
>Suture Kit
>Nasal airway tubes
>Decomp needle
Tier 3 requires advanced medical knowledge, but is certainly doable if you train. You can go from a numb-brain to a suture pro in 6 months if you practice it. Decomp needles are used for a sucking chest wound, and you can easily penetrate a lung if you are not careful.
