Destro and Major Bludd both showed up at the same time in the same wave of figures. At any rate, the cartoon was ahead of the toys. You can watch the 1984 mini-series on Youtube and see characters and vehicles that didn't show up until 1985 or 1986.

I don't know if that's true since at that time Hasbro took generic-blue Baroness and turned her into S&M psycho-sexy Baroness. I still remember the story of her original prototype figure having big boobs, but Hasbro felt that was taking it too far, so they had toy sculptors make them smaller. And there's no denying that they let her sexuality slip into the cartoon and comic books in spite of kids.
