My potentially controversial take is that this fetish lives and dies by its shitty-to-mediocre artists just as much as its big names. For every Raps there's a hundred autistic shitters trying their best to churn out size smut on DA, taking requests in draw threads, launching garbage RPG Maker games that will never be finished, and writing sloppy fapfics on AO3, and the "size community" would be noticeably worse off if they all stopped drawing or turned to AI. I like it when people make things they like even if the final products aren't good, there's genuinely something soulful about it.
