Those first two episodes of S3 were very creepy, I felt that too. Especially with the part of Johanna being super freaked out of Hilda ever going near a fairy mound but refusing to say why. Those scenes had great sound mixing to make it seem evil whenever Hilda went near it.
I’m still a tad confused about Johanna’s backstory they did in the last ep. So she never got kidnapped into one and doesn’t remember her parents disappearing, but she still is horrified by Fairy Mounds?
