600/1100/600 was close to impossible without a 9* stam spark guest before I got my own 9*s.
My current stam spark farming is 6* stam 3* speed + 9* stam when I have guests, and 6* stam 3* speed + 5* stam + 3* speed when I don't.
The important thing to look out for is taking pretty much every power option on the dialogue when offered. It will come down to the wire if you aren't keeping power in mind.
