It's the UE cycle. Same thing literally happened with Unreal 4. Epic starts focusing on unfucking their engine once they pass the .5 threshold. Final build UE4 is considered one of the best and most stable 3D engines even though people forget how shitty it was for the first half of it's life cycle. Same thing will happen with UE5 and everyone moves on to shit on UE6.
