the perception of perfection is subjective, therefor variation and diversity will always be a thing, boredom is a automatism that will set in as well, demanding again variation.
as long as participation is not forced there will be humans with "minimal usage"
my assumption would be that the rate will be similar as to wahat the usage statistics of "computer users" and "non computer users" were in the 1980s simply with the 'roles reversed'
there will be a lot heavy users and a small amount of minimal/non users who will push innovation.
