well my beliefs make me a soft taoist. not believing in rigid beings and seeing existences as flowing experiences also helps me with dysphoria a fair bit.
it also makes me more aware of media and my interactions with others and their ability to fundamentally change how i am, helps a bit with organizing my life
i dont know why you want these beliefs to be useless to me. i also find it more beautiful for life to be a pool of crashing waves between experience and substance than a pile of objects waiting to be observed.

it wasnt an unpleasant argument it was fruitful. shes much more intelligent than i am and helps me see things that i cant otherwise
